Agri-Food Pilot.

The purpose of this pilot program is to help address the growing, and changing needs of the Canadian agri-food industry. Below will outline some of the specific requirements to receive this Visa - this pathway to Canada is being offered until May 2023.

To be eligible for this pilot, you must have relevant Canadian experience (a minimum of 1 year, full-time, non-seasonal work in the last 3 years for a total of 1,560 hours), in one or more of the eligible industries or roles. Also, you must have a valid, full-time, non-seasonal job offer from a Canadian employer.

Next, you must pass the minimum requirements for education, and language skills. Unless you are already working in Canada with a valid permit, you must provide proof of financial stability that could support you, and any family members you have, even if they are not traveling with you.

This Visa leads to you earning your permanent residence (PR) in Canada. This provides you with all of the benefits of being a citizen, except for voting in elections, and joining the military.
