Super Visa

Super Visa.

The Canadian government recognizes the importance of visiting family - the Super Visa is a temporary Visa that allows parents and grandparents to visit your children or grandchildren for up to 2 years per visit; you may re-enter Canada for up to 10 years. Generally, the Super Visa can be processed quickly. If you plan to stay for less than 6 months, we suggest you consider the Visitor Visa.

To be eligible for this Visa, you must be the parent or grandparent of a Canadian citizen or permanent resident, and have an eligible letter from your child or grandchild inviting you to Canada. You must also obtain, and pay for medical insurance from a Canadian insurance company valid for at least 1 year upon entry, for at least $100,000 of coverage. Next, you must apply from outside of Canada, take an immigrant medical exam, be allowed to enter Canada, and finally provide proof that the household you are planning to stay in meets the minimum necessary income.

There are several other conditions that must be met in order for your application to be successful; Book a consultation below, and we’ll guide you on a path to visiting your children or grandchildren.
